Do you think theres any merit to the whole astrology “star sign” thing ?

I always thought it was total BS But , im a Virgo , and I was just reading up on what my sign means
And its kinda freakin’ scary how accurate it is. .It might be just a coincidence i guess , But its kinda weird . what do you think about it ?

If it was true, there would be no reason for the blind belief that is required. Or need for your question. Try to ask the believers if they can find one area where astrology clearly does better than random chance. In other words better than plain guessing. I’ll bet that you will not get an answer from them. Except point of view anecdotes and speculation.

I would not like the notion that I’m programed from birth like a computer. Humans are not machines. We choose our personality. Not an ancient, made-up, unproved, belief oriented, stereotyping, and very bigoted concept. Astrology is a bigotry, not unlike racism or sexism. No one has control over when and where they are born. Why accept being stereotyped by something that can’t even prove it’s own existence?

There is no science for why astrology can work, but plenty for why it can’t.
